France’s Alexander Levy will try to make it back to back titles at the Volvo China Open beginning Thursday in Shanghai.
Thirteen of the top players in the world, including five other former winners, will be on hand to try and wrest the title away from Levy.
My maiden victory at the 2014 Volvo China Open was an amazing experience. It is definitely one of the best moments of my career so far and I am very excited to be returning to Shanghai as defending champion,” Levy said. It will be the first time I have defended a title so I am looking forward to it very much.”
The tournament is played at the Tomson Shanghai Pudong Golf Club. It plays as a par-72, 7,337-yard course, and was designed by Shunsuke Kato. Ernie Els holds the single-round record with his 62 in 2005.
