Paulina Gretzky, fiance of PGA player Dustin Johnson, revealed on Christmas via Instagram that she and the golfer are having a baby boy, their first child, next month.
Gretzky, daughter of NHL legend Wayne, first announced she was pregnant in September, shortly after Johnson took a leave of absence from the Tour which has alternately been reported to be due to his having a drug problem or a problem with other players’ wives – no official word ever came out.
Gretzky sent out a photo of herself dressed to the nines with a very pregnant belly alongside Johnson out at a party with the message: “Merry Christmas Everyone! Ps. We’re having a BOY.”
Johnson is expected to return to action at the Farmer’s Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in 2015.
