Leishman Rises to 32nd; McIlroy Takes Over #2

Australia’s Marc Leishman rose from 62nd to 32nd in the world with his at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, while Rory McIlroy moved past Jason Day to reclaim the No. 2 position in the world.

Leishman guaranteed himself a spot in the Masters and a three-year PGA exemption with the win in Orlando on Sunday.

Australia has four players ranked in the top 100: #3 Day, #8 Adam Scott, #32 Leishmann, and #74 Scott Hend.


Kevin Kisner moved from 46th to 38th with his second-place finish. He tied Charley Hoffman, who rose from 71st to 48th.

Adam Hadwin, the Canadian who took fifth after winning the Valspar Invitational two years ago, moved up to 44th from 51st. He was ranked No. 191 just three weeks ago.
