He didn’t win the Nedbank Golf Challenge on Sunday, but Henrik Stenson’s continuing strong start to the 2016 European Tour season has him as the early leader in the Race to Dubai standings.
Stenson is picking up right where he left off at the end of the 2015 season, as he finished tied for sixth at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and tied for third at the BMW Masters.
He has 678,970 earned on Sunday, nearly 300,000 more than second-place Chris Wood (382,533).
Several other familiar faces from last year’s standings are already popping up in the top 10 including South Africa’s Charl Schwartzel and Branden Grace; England’s Danny Willett; Korea’s Byeong Hun An; and Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee.
