Andy Sullivan dominated the course and the field for a fourth straight round on Sunday, firing a 66 to finish a whopping 23 strokes under par, cruising to the Portugal Masters championship by nine strokes.
Sullivan was sharp and smart in playing a bogey-free round on Sunday. He birdied No. 5 and No. 17 for the fourth straight day, and added birdies on No. 4, 14, and 18.
Chris Wood finished second at 14-under, climbing 24 spots in the final two rounds. He and Sullivan are both now ranked in the Top 20 of the Race to Dubai standings with one tournament left.
Three more players finished tied for third at 13-under, two of whom – Spain’s Eduardo De La Riva and South Africa’s Trevor Fisher Jr. – are now within just a few spots of qualifying for the Race to Dubai.
Fisher is now 61st in the rankings and De La Riva 66th.
