Hebert, Wiesberger Tied in Germany

France’s Benjamin Hebert and Austria’s Bernd Wiesberger are tied atop the Porsche European Open leader board after each shot a 7-under 64 at the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach in Germany on Thursday.

Hebert, ranked 181st in the world and a distant 106th in the Race to Dubai standings, had eight birdies and one bogey on the day, coming in 4-under on the front nine with a 31.

Wiesberger, having the best year of his career, ranked 30th and seventh in the Race to Dubai, birdied three of his last four holes and had seven birdies overall.

The pair have a 1-stroke lead over four other players: Graeme Storm, Richard Bland, Richard Green, and Daren Fichardt.
