Omega European Masters Preview

The European Tour moves from The Open Championship in Scotland to the Omega European Masters in Switzerland this week, where local resident Sergio Garcia will try and parlay his sixth-place finish at the third major into success.

Garcia is not having the best of years, despite his recent high finish at The Open. That was his first Top 10 finish of the season, and he’s only won one European Tour event since 2011.

David Lipsky is the defending champion here, and he’ll be on the course at 7:55 a.m. local alongside Danny Willett and Lee Westwood.

Willett is currently third in the Race to Dubai standings after a great Open Championship. He’s finished in the top 10 five times this year.

The tournament is held at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Course in Crans Montana, Switzerland.
