His big comeback win at the Lyoness Open Sunday has propelled Chris Wood to No. 19 in the current Race to Dubai standings released Monday.
Wood has racked up 643,806 points in just nine events, one of the best ratios in the field of 60 who advance to the post-season tournament.
With most of the world’s best players sitting out in anticipation of this week’s US Open, there wasn’t much movement in the standings overall.
Despite falling apart late and finishing third, France’s Gregory Bourdy moved up to 35th in the standings with 396,912 points.
Finland’s Mikko Ilonen is currently the man on the hot seat, sitting at No. 60 with 241,755 points.
