David Howell, who finished tied for second at Barcelona, climbed to No. 11 in the standings with 646,321 points through 11 tournaments.
Rory McIlroy, despite playing on the PGA Tour last week, continues to lead the chase by nearly 1 million points – with 2,665,169 to second-place Danny Willett’s 1,711,406.
Miguel Angel Jimenez, who also finished tied for second, rose to 22nd.
