Morrison Into Top 30 in Race to Dubai

His come-from-behind win at the Open de Espana saw England’s James Morrison leap to 28th in the latest Race to Dubai standings.

Morrison has 383,847 points after his big win, putting him in the meat of the competition in which the Top 60 move on to the post-season tournament full of extra prize money and honors.

David Howell, who finished tied for second at Barcelona, climbed to No. 11 in the standings with 646,321 points through 11 tournaments.

Rory McIlroy, despite playing on the PGA Tour last week, continues to lead the chase by nearly 1 million points – with 2,665,169 to second-place Danny Willett’s 1,711,406.

Miguel Angel Jimenez, who also finished tied for second, rose to 22nd.
