Based on how much love he seems to get everywhere he goes, you’d never guess how irrelevant John Daly is to the world golf rankings.
Daly, the boisterous American classic, was in Haikout, China, for the Mission Hills Celebrity Pro-Am, last weekend, and found time to golf with Yao Ming, jam with Kenny G, and give golf lessons to one of the most beautiful women in the world, Jessica Alba.
Daly brought out his guitar to play “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” alongside Kenny G on the saxophone, mugged with Yao Ming, the former NBA star for the Houston Rockets who is now a wealthy Chinese businessman, and who, at 7 feet, 6 inches tall, is one of the few people alive who can make Daly seem small.
Daly also drew Alba as his playing partner in the pro-am.
