Two Brits and an Aussie all shot 7-under 64s on Thursday to take the early lead at the Made in Denmark tournament being held at the Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort in Faro.
Brits Steve Webster and Matt Wallace and Australia’s Wade Ormsby are all tied for first after a day. All three are on the outside looking in to the Final Series.
Webster shot a bogey-free round with all seven of his birdies coming between No. 1 and 15.
Wallace fired five birdies between holes 3 and 8, and had three more in a row between 15 and 17 but slipped up with bogeys on 10 and 18.
Ormsby looked on pace for an all-time round when was 4-under through three holes. He added a flurry between 11 and 16 to reach 8-under. He bogeyed 18 to miss out on sole possession of the lead.
Three players are a stroke back at 6-under and a whopping 71 are at least one stroke under par
