Fleetwood Jumps to World #15

UK standout Tommy Fleetwood rose to a career-best No. 15 in the world after winning the HNA Open de France on Sunday. He climbed six spots from 21st with the win, his second of the year.

On the PGA Tour, Kyle Stanley rose from 94th to 58th with his playoff victory at the Quicken Loans National. It’s the second win of his career and the first since 2012.

The top four remained unchanged with American Dustin Johnson spending his 20th week ranked No. 1. In two more weeks he’ll catch Lee Westwood for 12th on the list of weeks at No. 1 with Jordan Spieth his next target at 26 weeks.

Dropping out of the Top 20 to make room for Fleetwood was American Patrick Reed who has plummeted 13 spots from a high-water mark of 8th at the end of 2016.

Also making a move up on the PGA side of things was Quicken Loans runner-up Charles Howell III, who jumped 15 sports to No. 55 from No. 70.
