Chile’s Felipe Aguilar is 18 holes away from an unexpected wire-to-wire win in Lyoness. The South American player is 9-under through 54 holes
His scores keep going up – he shot a 72 after a 65 and a 70, but so far it’s enough to stave off the challenges from the rest of the field. He couldn’t quite escape the bogeys on Saturday. He was 2-under through seven holes before bogeying No. 8 to hit the turn 1-under. Five straight pars led into another bogey on 14, a birdie on 15 and another bogey on 18 to sit him back at even par.
Aguilar has been very average on the back nine throughout the tournament just 2-under cumulative compared to 7-under on the front nine.
