South Korea’s Jeunghun Wang fired a Saturday 64, the lowest tournament of the tournament so far, to take a three-stroke lead to the final day of the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
Wang recorded an eagle and six birdies to reach 11-under, leaving him three strokes clear of Louis Oosthuizen. Andy Sullivan is alone in third place after shooting a 68.
Wang looked nothing like a contender when the day started, five strokes behind leader Alex Noren.
“I shot eight under on this course in this wind, I still cannot believe it.
“I don’t want to think about any win. I just want to focus on the last 18 holes. I’ll just try to do the same as today.”
Noren fell back to fourth, tied with Branden Grace. Race to Dubai leader Henrik Stenson is a shot further back in fifth.
