Canada’s Lindsay Reynolds fired a 6-under 66 to take the lead at the Phillippine Open on Thursday.
“It is a case of winning or going back to Qualifying School for me this week. I got nothing to lose this week. I’m trying to stay motivated and focused,” said the 29-year-old Reynolds.
His lead is one over three players, including Thailand’s Phadungsil Chinnarat. In all, some 53 players are at least 1-stroke under par, although the rain shortened several first rounds meaning play will resume Friday morning before the start of Round 2.
