He’s still just 25 years old, but Rory McIlroy is already up to third on the all-time European Tour career money list.
McIlroy pulled in €4.727 million for the 2015 season which ended on Sunday. That total moves him to €28.212 million for his career.
He trails Ernie Els by just €164,000 and overall leader Lee Westwood by a little more than €3 million.
To put McIlroy’s dominance in perspective, the next-highest ranked player in career earnings who is under the age of 30 is Danny Willett, who ranks 42nd on the list with €8.236 million. Willett is 28, three years McIlroy’s senior, but has made nearly €20 million less in his career.
McIlroy has made an additional $28,454,877 in his PGA career, good for 27th place.
