The conclusion of the UBS Hong Kong Open locked in the 60 men who will compete in the Final Series as the Race to Dubai kicks off.
Denmark’s Lucas Bjerrgaard, who finished second at Hong Kong, used his strong finish to sneak into the field of 60 at No. 59.
Bjerregaard’s fast finish knocked Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher out of the Top 60. Gallacher finished with 509,033 points, while Argentina’s Emilliano Grillo was No. 60 with 515,558 points.
With the victory at Hong Kong, Justin Rose jumped up to fourth in the standings with 2.528 million in just 12 events.
Rory McIlroy is the regular-season leader with 3.012 million, followed by Danny Willett (2.741 million) and Louis Oosthuizen (2.559 million).
The Final Series begins October 29 with the Turkish Airlines Open at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal in Antalya, Turkey.
