Kaymer Climbs to 11th in Race to Dubai

Martin Kaymer didn’t win the Italian Open on Sunday, but his second-place finish earned him enough points to reach the No. 11 spot in the Race to Dubai standings released on Sunday.

Through 16 tournaments, Kaymer has 1,166,819 points. Henrik Stenson is 10th with 1,177,944. Rory McIlroy, currently playing in the PGA’s FedEx Cup, leads the Race to Dubai standings with 3,012,000 points.

Italian Open winner Rikard Karlberg jumped into the Top 60 with just a few weeks to go before the start of The Final Series.  Karlberg is 47th after his big win on Sunday, with 501,875 points.

Austria’s Andrew Dodt is currently the man on the bubble in the Race to Dubai standings, sitting 60th.
