Golf Birthdays: July 24-26

Kaname Yokoo, a five-time winner on the Japan Golf Tour, turns 43. He played three years on the PGA Tour, finishing tied for second at the 2002 Phoenix Open.

 

July 26

Allen Doyle, a four-time winner on the Champions Tour, turns 67. Doyle has won four majors on the circuit, earning $11 million and is the oldest US Senior Open Champion, winning it at age 57 years, 11 months in 2006.

Wayne Grady, the Australian professional golfer who won the 1990 PGA Championship, turns 58. Grady finished tied for second at the 1989 Open Championship, and at the 1990 PGA he trailed Fred Couples by a stroke with six holes to play.  However Couples bogeyed four straight holes and defending champion Payne Stewart triple-bogeyed No. 11, paving the way for a three-stroke win by Grady at 6-under.

David Ishii, who won 14 times on the Japan Golf Tour, turns 60. His lone PGA victory was the 1990 Hawaiian Open.

David McKenzie, five-time professional winner, turns 48. The Aussie played one season on the PGA Tour.
