Jason Bohn came out of nowhere to fire a 9-under 61 and jump into a four-way tie for first at the Greenbrier Classic after 54 holes on Saturday.
Bohn had six birdies in his first 10 holes, was slowed by a bogey, then rattled off four birdies over the last five holes to move up 61 spots from a day before.
Bohn is tied for first with Sung Joon Park, Bryce Molder, and Sean O’Hair entering Sunday. Not the most luminous quartet, but even that is likely to change over the final 18 holes as a whopping 27 players are within four shots of the lead.
The one most people came to see is unlikely to contend on Sunday; Tiger Woods shot a 71 and dropped to seven strokes behind the leaders.
