Beyong Hun An, one of the least known names in the field at the BMW PGA Championship, fired a 5-under 67 to tie Francesco Molinari atop the leaderboard on Saturday
Molinari has had his name atop the leaderboard after each of the first three rounds of the premiere event. An birdied his last two holes on Saturday to tie the Italian at 14-under.
Molinari was no slouch either on the day, with a 68, the same score as Thongchai Jaidee, who is third on the leader board, two shots off the lead.
But the biggest cheers were heard for 51-year-old Miguel Angel Jimenez, who fired an ace on the par-3 No. 2. It was his third ace this season and the 10th of his career, an European Tour record.
