Jordan Spieth jumped from 44th to 7th in the latest FedEx Cup standings after winning the Valspar Open in a playoff n Sunday.
Spieth has 864 points. Jimmy Walker leads the race with 1,150 – and is one of three players who has racked up more than 1,000 points so far this season.
Also joining the top 10 this week is Ryan Moore, who led Valspar for three rounds before finishing fifth. Moore moved from 12th to sixth.
The top 125 players at the end of the regular season qualify for the FedEx Cup – a series of four tournaments culminating in the TOUR Championship. The overall winner receives a $10 million prize.
