Golf birthdays for March 4-6, just in time for the WGC-Cadillac Championship.
American Peter Jacobsen, a 22-time professional winner, and current Golf Channel commentator, turns 61. He was named Comeback Player of the Year in 2003 and finished third at the Masters twice, in 1983 and 1986.
Paul Azinger, who won the 1993 PGA Championship, and finished in the top five of three other Majors, turns 55. Azinger has 17 professional wins in his career, 12 of them on the PGA Tour. He defeated Greg Norman in a playoff for his lone Major win.
Craig Perks, who won the 2002 Players Championship, turns 49. The title was his only professional win over the span of 15 years, and he did so by shooting eagle, par, birdie on the final three holes to finish 8-under.
