The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am hosts the PGA TOUR this week, for the last of the multiple course tournaments for this year. The tournament will be played over the Pebble Beach Golf Links, Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course and Spyglass Hill Golf Course.
Of the 156 players total, 79 have won a PGA championship, 11 have won a Major, and combined they have 306 Tour wins.
Jim Furyk is playing his first event since last year’s Ryder Cup, and will hope to continue his PGA TOUR form of 2014. Although without a win since 2010, Furyk managed eleven top-10 and four 2nd places in 21 events, finishing 4th on the FedEx Cup standing. At 22/1 he’s an intriguing prospect.
Jordan Spieth is one of the highest ranked players in the field, currently sat at 9th position. In 2015 Spieth’s best finish was a T-7th at the Waste Management, and surprisingly missed the cut at last week’s Farmers. We expect him to bounce back to the form of late 2014, and at 12/1 he’s decent value for a win.
Kevin Na has had a slightly disappointing start to 2015, with his best finish a T26th at the Waste Management. In 2014, Na managed 6 top-10’s and finished 2nd at the AT&T behind eventual winner Jimmy Walker. Currently ranked No.28 in the world, he’s great value at 40/1 to win this week.
Brandt Snedeker has had a solid start to 2015, with 2 top-20 in 3 starts, as he tries to get back to his form of 2013. Snedeker, a former AT&T champion shot the tournament record 267 (-19) back in 2013. Snedeker enters this week as one of the favorites, and at 20/1 he’s good value for a former champion.
