Here’s a look at professional golfers celebrating birthdays on January 19-20.
January 19
Doug LaBelle turns 40. LaBelle has two Web.com wins in his career, and is in his third straight year on the PGA Tour.
January 20
Fredrik Andersson Hed turns 43. He plays mainly on the European Tour, winning his lone title there at the 2010 BMW Italian Open.
Three-time Nationwide.com winner Tom Carter turns 47. A graduate of Temple University, Carter finished tied for 55th at the 2004 US Open, his only Major appearance.
Sweden’s Peter Hedblom turns 45. A three-time winner on the European Tour, Hedblom also finished tied for seventh at the 1996 The Open Championship and tied for 11th at the 2005 US Open.
Zimbabwe’s Andrew McLardy, who has five career wins on the Sunshine Tour, turns 41. He has appeared on two Einsenhower Trophy teams playing for South Africa.
Derek Fathauer, who has one Web.com title under his belt, turns 29. Fathauer is more well-known for qualifying for the US Open as a 22-year-old amateur in 2008 and making the cut.
