Here’s a look at the duffers celebrating birthdays on January 14-15.
January 14
David Berganio, three-time Web.com winner, turns 46. In 2002, he finished second at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, losing a playoff to Phil Mickelson. His best Major finish was tying for 16th at the US Open in 1996.
Gibby Gilbert, three-time PGA winner, and six-time Champions winner, turns 74. His best finish at a Major was tying for second at the Masters in 1980. His first PGA victory was the 1980 Houston Champions International.
Luke List, one of the PGA Tour’s hardest hitters, turns 30. He has one win on the Nationwide Tour to his credit. In 2014, he led the Web.com tour in driving distance with an average of 316.3 yards.
January 15
Former PGA member Cody Freeman turns 36. Freeman was mainly active on the PGA Tour in 2008, playing in 26 events.
Two-time PGA winner Ted Tryba turns 48. The native of Wilkes-Baree, Pennsylvania, won the Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic in 1996 and the FedEx St. Jude Classic in 1999.
