The Waste Management Phoenix Open is always delighted to have hometown hero Phil Mickelson in the field every year, but 2015 looks like it will be an even bigger year in the desert.
Rumors are fast and furious that Tiger Woods will make his 2015 PGA debut in Phoenix on January 29.
Woods has not played the event since 2001 and has never won it. Mickelson is the tournament’s only three-time champion, having taken top honors in 1996, 2005, and 2013, where he tied the tournament record with a 28-under 256.
