Hunter Mahan has been one of the most consistent attractions on the California swing of the PGA Tour, but that will have to take a back seat this year.
Kandi Mahan, Hunter’s wife, is pregnant with the couple’s second child, and due to deliver some time during the upcoming schedule, and Mahan knows what’s more important.
“I’m just going to play my schedule and make adjustments from there,” Mahan said. “It’s too hard to figure out. “Whenever the baby falls is where he’s going to fall.”
Mahan is no stranger to choosing family over golf, leaving the Canadian Open two years ago for the birth of his first child while leading the tournament through 36 holes.
