Proving that every little point counts, England’s Danny Willett made the 2015 Masters Field by moving up to No. 50 in the last Official World Golf Rankings of 2014 by 0.188 points.
Willett had been No. 51 for two weeks and didn’t play this past week, but when fellow Englishman Tommy Fleetwood failed to make the cut at the Dubai Open last week, it dropped him behind Willett.
Willett made the late push by winning the Nedbank Challenge in South Africa two weeks ago.
Willett took to twitter to celebrate, posting “Didn’t want to post anything until it was official!! Week 52.. OWGR #50 boom!!”
