G-Rip are probably a brand you’ve never heard of. But their putter grips are seriously good.
One of our bloggers has been using a G-Rip Wave on his Odyssey putter for three years and loves it, so he was very excited to hear that the UK company run by Paul Steels (who used to be Golf Pride’s man on Tour) has launched a new grip called the Buddy.
It looks really interesting and we can’t wait to try it..
There’s an EVA underlisting for a firm base and solid feel, while the microfibre base helps to take moisture away. When it comes to shaping, the Buddy is lightly tapered so you always feel in control of your stroke and silicone buds all round the grip give a truly unique feel and look.
Lastly, the logos are placed on the top and side of the G-rip Buddy grip so there’s nothing to distract you from seeing the putter head when you grip the club.
It’s available in 3 sizes: Little Buddy (length 269 mm + or – 3mm, weight 45 grams + or – 3 grams; Big Buddy (length 269 mm + or – 3mm, weight 58 grams + or – 3 grams) and Fat Buddy (length 272 mm + or – 3mm, weight 95 grams + or – 3 grams).
