Bernd Wiesberger, who won the Alstom Open de France in come-from-behind fashion on Sunday, has moved up to fourth in the latest Race to Dubai standings released by the European Tour.
Wiesberger has 1,526,217 points through 13 events, more than anyone besides Rory McIlroy (2,875,645), Danny Willett (1,827,234), and Louis Oosthuizen (1,712,114).
Jaco Van Zyl, who blew the 54-hole lead and finished third, still moved up as well, climbing to 36th with 456,126 points.
Unlike the PGA’s FedEx Cup, in which the top 125 competitors at year’s end participate, only the top 60 are included in the Euro Tour’s Race to Dubai.
The latest man sitting on the hot seat at No. 60 is the US’ Peter Uihlein with 278,168 points.
