KJ Choi, winner of the 2011 Players Championship, turns 45. Choi has 22 professional wins since turning pro in 1994, eight of those on the PGA Tour. In 2000, he became the first Korean-born player to earn a PGA card. In 2008, he climbed to No. 5 in the world and later that year won the Sony Open, donating the $320,000 paycheck to families of victims who died in a fire that burned down a warehouse in Seoul. After winning the 2011 Players title, he donated $200,000 to families devastated by tornadoes in the Southeastern US that April.
Mike Standly, winner of the 1993 Freeport-McMoRan Golf Classic, turns 51. The Freeport win was his lone victory on the PGA Tour and as a professional. He finished tied for 16th at the US Open that same year.

Seven-time professional winner Spike McRoy turns 47. MCroy won the 2002 BC Open for his lone PGA victory and was previously the Buy.com Tour’s 2000 Player of the Year.
