Two-time European Tour winner Jim Payne turns 45. The European Tour Rookie of the Year in 1992, a string of injuries saw him undergo spinal fusion surgery when he was just 24 and led to a short run of success.
April 18
David Edwards, a 26-year PGA pro, turns 59. He won four PGA Tour events in his career and tied for third at the 1984 Masters. He also won his first event on the Champions Tour in 2006.
April 19
Matthew Jones of Australia, who won the 2014 Shell Houston Open, turns 35. He won the event with a 42-foot putt on a playoff hole after forcing the playoff with a 46-foot putt.
April 20
Spain’s Pablo Martin turns 29. He has three European Tour titles, including two wins at the Dunhill Championship.
John Senden turns 44. The Australia has six professional wins, two on the PGA Tour, and three Major top-10 finishes, including a tie for fourth at the 2007 PGA Championship.
