With a little rule-bending and a lot of silliness, Bubba Watson outdueled Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon in a game of “Pie Golf” on Monday night’s episode of the popular late-night talk show. Each man was tasked with hitting balls at a sticky target. Each successful hit resulted in a pie being thrown in the other player’s face, courtesy of “Mad Men” actress January Jones.
Giving himself a mulligan along the way, Watson edged Fallon 3-2 after carefully removing his Masters green jacket, clearly the powers that be at Augusta National were not interested in seeing it covered in Boston cream.
Jones administered all five of the pies to the face, after which Watson revealed to Fallon on the interview couch that he has never actually taken a golf lesson, and once while his wife was out of town, he ate burritos every lunch and dinner for 10 straight days. He and Fallon shared burritos as the interview concluded.
