Johnson new No. 3 in FedEx Race

Winning the biggest event of the season so far saw Dustin Johnson vault from 40th to third in the latest FedExCup Standings released Sunday night.

Jimmy Walker continues to lead the field with 1,150 points, but is now closely pursued by Bubba Watson, who finished third on Sunday. Watson has 1,088 points and Johnson 910.

The top 125 players in the standings qualify for a four-week, end-of-season tournament for impressive prize money, culminating in the TOUR Championship in Atlanta each year. The overall points leader following that event is awarded $10 million.

Rory McIlroy is the defending champion of the FedExCup.
