San Diego State Golf Team Video Dominates YouTube

The hottest golf video on the Internet this month has nothing to do with Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, or even Tiger Woods.

No, that honor belongs to the women’s golf team at San Diego State University in sunny, Southern California. The Lady Aztecs shot a promotional video for their upcoming spring season with a 55-second video featuring the team showing off some individual and team trick-shot abilities that have Internet viewers nodding their heads to the R&B beat.

Through Tuesday afternoon, the video was just shy of 1 million views on Youtube, and the team has garnered attention from the likes of “Good Morning, America!” ESPN, and Golf Channel’s “Morning Drive”.

“It’s great for recruiting, no doubt,” said Kristina Lynn, the former player and team manager who shot the video on her iPhone and posted it. “It gives our university and our program good recognition and exposure. It shows people that we can have fun and be good at it too.”
