Weekly Winners Climb Rankings

Qatar Masters winner Branden Grace jumped 35 spots in the latest Official World Golf Rankings, while Humana Challenge champion Bill Haas moved up 18 spots in the latest release.

Haas defeated five players by a single stroke to claim Humana, moving from 41st to 23rd in the rankings.

Grace, who staved off Marc Warren for his sixth European Tour title, soared from 79th to 44th.

The top 10 saw just one change, with American Matt Kuchar moving up to 10th, displacing fellow US up-and-comer Rickie Fowler.

Kuchar was one of those to tie for second at the Humana Challenge, missing an 11-foot putt for birdie that could have forced a playoff with Haas.

Phil Mickelson slipped a spot to 17th, passed by France’s Victor Dubuisson. Elsewhere, Chris Kirk rose to 20th, pushing Zach Johnson back a spot.

Haas checks in right behind Dustin Johnson, who became a father for the first time last week, and announced he will return to the tour in time for Torrey Pines in early February.
