A second witness has given testimony that Robert Allenby fell and hit his head, rather than be abducted last weekend in Honolulu.
Chris Khamis, a 47-year-old homeless man, told the local Hawaiian newspaper that Allenby passed out and hit his head on the pavement, rather than being abducted and getting thrown in the back of a car as the golfer claimed last Sunday.
“There was no crime (when I was present). It was his stupidity,” Khamis said in an interview. “(Allenby) passed out and hit his head. I was there. Nobody pushed him out of a car.”
Khamis said Allenby had left a strip club when the incident occurred.
A week after the alleged event, the Honolulu Police Department is yet to open a kidnapping investigation, nor one for robbery.
One thing is clear, Allenby’s credit cards were used by someone else, or multiple someone elses to purchase more than $10,000 in merchandise.
