Watson’s Car Raises $400K for Charity

Bubba Watson sold his 1939 Cadillac LaSalle C-Hawk Custom Roadster at an auction Saturday, with the $410,000 going to the Birdies for the Brave charity.

The charity is a national military outreach initiative dedicated to honoring and showing appreciation to the courageous men and women of the United States Armed Forces and their families.

In 2012, Watson bought a Dodge Charger used in the popular “Dukes of Hazzard” television show at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction.

In 2012, a car similar to Cadillac sold for $269,500, prompting Watson to announce he would sell his for charity. The six-speed automatic roadster has a remarkable 556 horsepower.
