103-Year-Old-Man Drills Ace

Talk about two unbreakable records.

Florida’s Gus Andreone already held the record as the PGA of America’s oldest living player. Now he’s added another feather to his cap: oldest member to ever hit an ace.

The 103- year-old Andreone aced the 113-yard No. 14 at the Lakes Course of Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota last week, breaking the seven-year-old record held by Elsie McLean (age 102) in 2007,

Andreone shot an 83 on the day at the 4,535-yard course. It’s the eighth ace of Andreone’s playing career, coming a mere 75 years after his first one, back in 1939 when he was 28 years old.
