Tiger Woods will be back on the golf course for the first time since the opening rounds of the PGA Championship last August when he takes part in the Hero Challenge beginning Thursday in Windmere, Florida.
Woods will tee off at 12:15 p.m. local time alongside Jason Day. The field of 18 players also includes Race to Dubai runner-up Henrik Stenson, 2013 US Open champion Justin Rose, and 2014 FedExCup champion Billy Horschel.
This is the first year at the Isleworth Golf & Country Club for the tournament, which began in 1999. Zach Johnson was the champion last year.
