Every golfer for a generation has grown up wanting to beat Tiger Woods. Now that list includes his own son.
Doing a press conference in Boston last week, Woods talked about his 5-year-old son Charlie, and his suddenly competitive drive to beat his own dad in any competition possible, particularly on the miniature golf course.
“I’ve got a little 5-year-old right now that is really pushing me pretty hard. He wants to beat me in everything,” Woods said. “That said, I was able to kick his butt in putt-putt. I’ve shown him how to get it done.”
Woods made a family vacation out of the trip to Boston, with girlfriend Lindsey Vonn and his three kids.
