England’s leading amateur golfers have taken delivery of a fleet of Powakaddy FW7 trolleys.
The Men’s Performance Squad was presented with the trolleys, customised with all-white frames and featuring the England Golf logo, ahead of the prestigious Brabazon Trophy, taking place at Seaton Carew Golf Club, in County Durham.
Each member of the country’s Elite Women’s Squad will also receive their own FW7 model at the English Women’s Amateur Championship at St Enodoc Golf Club in July.
The all-new FW7 electric trolley, the flagship member of the 2014 Freeway Family which also incorporates FW3 and FW5 models, is the most advanced PowaKaddy product to date. Featuring a host of clever new technologies, including a unique Plug ‘n’ Play™ Battery System and lightweight yet super-strong PowaFrame™, the range has already received widespread acclaim from the media, the golfing public and industry officials, alike.
Nigel Edwards, the England Golf Performance Director and 2015 Walker Cup Captain, explained the health and fitness benefits that are associated with electric trolley use and expressed his confidence in the nation’s golfers achieving success in 2015, supported by PowaKaddy.
He said: “It’s vitally important that players conserve as much energy as possible during their rounds and these trolleys will help them do that.
“That fitness benefit when playing 36 holes of competitive golf a day can give them a real edge. I am delighted that PowaKaddy is continuing to support us by providing equipment which will help our players produce their best performances.”
