TITLEIST’S STELLAR WEEKEND

Titleist Brand Ambassador Ben Crane and golf ball loyalist Mikael Lundberg claimed titles on the PGA Tour and European Tour respectively to lead a 5-win weekend for the #1 ball in golf last weekend.

Crane claimed his fifth PGA Tour title this weekend by completing a wire-to-wire victory at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. Crane played 30 holes on Sunday en route to posting a 10-under par, 270 victory total and claim a one-stroke victory.

In Austria, Pro V1x loyalist Mikael Lundberg sealed a dramatic playoff victory with birdie at the first playoff hole to take the Lyoness Open title. Lundberg overcame Titleist Brand Ambassador Bernd Wiesberger (Pro V1x) after they both finished on 12-under par, 276 following regulation play.

The multiple win weekend for Titleist was completed with Titleist golf ball loyalists claiming victories on the Asian Tour, PGA Tour China and Japan Tour respectively.

Ben Crane trusted a host of Titleist equipment for his success at TPC Southwind, including a Pro V1x golf ball, 913D2 driver, 913Fd fairway metal, 910H hybrid, 712U 4-iron, AP2 714 irons, plus Vokey Design SM4 pitching, sand and lob wedges.

Eight of the top-10 finishers also relied upon a Pro V1 or Pro V1x for their success, including Titleist Brand Ambassador Webb Simpson (Pro V1x) and Titleist golf ball loyalists Troy Merritt (Pro V1) and Carl Pettersson (Pro V1x), each of whom finished in the top-3 and ties.

Titleist golf balls were also the overwhelming choice of the field at the event with 96 of the 156-player field choosing Titleist, compared to 19 for the nearest competitor.

On the European Tour, Titleist golf ball loyalists secured the top four positions on the leaderboard at the Lyoness Open with Joost Luiten (Pro V1) finishing alone in third, one shot behind Lundberg and Wiesberger, and Lee Slattery (Pro V1x) finishing alone in fourth.

Titleist golf balls also dominated the overall counts at Diamond Country Club in Austria with 99 of the 132 players placing their trust in a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, compared to 17 for the nearest competitor.

Elsewhere, Pro V1x loyalist Thaworn Wiratchant captured his 17th career Asian Tour win at the Queen’s Cup in Thailand.

Wiratchant closed with a final round 66 en route to a 12-under par, 272 victory total and one shot win from Titleist Brand Ambassador Poom Saksansin (Pro V1x). On the PGA Tour China, Pro V1x loyalist David McKenzie won his first career PGA Tour China Series title, completing a five stroke victory at the Lanhai Open in Shanghai. McKenzie closed with a final round 69 en route to a 16-under par, 272 winning total.

On the Japan Tour, the winner trusted a Pro V1 golf ball to take a one stroke victory at the PGA Championship Nissin Cupnoodles Cup. In addition to these wins, Pro V1 loyalist Jeff Sluman and his partner captured the Big Cedar Lodge Legends of Golf event.
