Winning the Lyoness Open didn’t get Mikael Lundberg into the top 60 of the latest Race to Dubai rankings, but it got him awfully close.
Lundberg surged to 68th in the standings released Monday, with €192,945 in earnings. He’s about €32,000 behind the No. 60 spot, currently held by Denmark’s Anders Hansen.
Inside the top 10, 50-year-old Miguel Angel Jimenez moved up one spot to No. 6 in the world after finishing fifth at the Lyoness Open. Jimenez is just short of reaching €1 million, currently at €997,862.
