Jason Dufner is many things: A Major champion, an Internet meme sensation … a commercial actor?
Doing solid deadpan humor acting, Dufner appears on a new commercial promoting the 2015 PGA Championship tournament in Whistling Straits, Wisconsin.
Dufner approaches a golf course employee in the pro shop, and asks to make a reservation for “Sunday, August 16, 2015, maybe about 2:30 p.m.” to which the employee replies, “That’s the last round of the PGA Championship.”
Dufner concurs with the employee, and busts out a cardboard cutout of himself lifting the 2013 trophy, claiming he “knows a guy.” He ends the bit with a masterful impersonation of a sheep while holding one of his sheep-head club covers.
