Victor Dubuisson Joins Million Euro Club

Victor Dubuisson became the fifth European Tour player to crack €1 million in prize money this season, moving him up to fifth in the Race to Dubai standings as of June 1.

The top 60 players in prize money qualify for the DP World Tour Championship held in Dubai. Five of the top six men in the prize money rankings have played fewer than 10 events so far this year; the lone exception being current No. 1 money earned Thomas Bjorn, who has played 12 and raked in €1.491 million so far.

He’s followed by Rory McIlroy (6 tournaments, €1.296m); Jamie Donaldson (9 tournaments, €1.23m); Louis Oosthuizen (6 tournaments, €1.035 million) and Dubusson.

Rounding out the top 10 are No. 6 Stephen Gallacher, No. 7 Miguel Angel Jimenez; No. 8 Sergio Garcia; No. 9 Jonas Blixt and No. 10 Henrik Stenson.

Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee, unexpected winner of the Nordea Masters, jumped up to No. 11 in the ranking. His €250,000 payday there gave him €708,634 for the year.
