Thomas Bjorn came back to the pack a bit on Friday, allowing Ireland’s Shane Lowry to tie for the lead atop the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club in Surrey.
After firing a course record 62 on Thursday, Bjorn was 2-over through seven holes, but rallied to return to even par.
The small chink in Bjorn’s armor allowed Ireland’s Lowry, who overcame a double bogey on No. 9.
