RICKIE FOWLER IN THE PINK

Rickie Fowler, the PUMA Golf star, will be in the pink as he tees it up at the Player’s Championship at Sawgrass later this week.

Alongside fellow PUMA players Jona Blixt and Graham Delaet, the 25-year-old American will be supporting Mother’s Day in the USA and Breast Cancer Awareness on the final day with a pink outfit.

• He was born on December 13 1988.
• He is an almost entirely self-taught golfer, having spent most of his time on a driving range as a kid.
• He played in the 2007 Walker Cup.
• In 2010 at the age of 21 years and 9 months when the matches began, Fowler became the youngest U.S. Ryder Cup player of all time.
• His middle name, Yutaka, comes from his maternal grandfather, who is Japanese.
