In the span of a few weeks, Ben Martin has gone from can’t hit to can’t miss.
The five-year veteran broke the course record at the TPC Louisiana with a 10-under 62 to lead after one round at the Zurich Classic.
The previous record was 64.
Martin made 10 birdies and eight pars on the round. Despite the low score, he has just a two-stroke lead on Andrew Svboba, who recorded an 8-under 64, also not recording a single bogey on the round.
